Williams in 1980, teaming with future pro stars Joe Delaney, Mark Duper and Bobby Hebert to help the Demons set 33 school records - including an average of 421 yards of total offense … after moving from defensive end in his first season, Griffith started at center the next three years … the 1980 team finished 8-3 and was ranked in the Top 20 in the Division I-AA poll … on the Top 100 Demons of the Century roster chosen in the 2007 football centennial celebration.
