Member of Top 100 Demon Players of All-Time roster chosen during 2007 Demon Football Centennial Celebration … a hard-hitting and reliable safety, he blossomed into a starter for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons … made 117 tackles with 5 interceptions in his best season, 1988 … started 43 of 60 NFL games he played from 1986-89 … had 180 tackles, 24 pass breakups and 6 interceptions for the Demons under coaches A.L. Williams and Sam Goodwin, helping NSU win the 1984 Gulf States Conference championship … earned All-GSC honors … was also an Academic All-District honoree who graduated with a business degree.
