Member of Top 100 Demon Players of All-Time roster chosen during 2007 Demon Football Centennial Celebration … a four-year starter who played all five offensive line posts in one game, he was All-America in 1990 as a center … “Coon” played guard on the 1988 Southland Conference champs and FCS playoff quarterfinalists who were ranked No. 8 nationally … played tackle and center in 1989 … Twice All-Louisiana and a two-time Academic All-District 6 (FCS and FBS players from six states) selection … turned down the U.S. Military Academy to play for coach Sam Goodwin’s Demons … now the highly successful head coach at Longview (Texas) HS.
