His ability to keep his weight up and retain his explosive first step bodes well for Elliott's chances to have a breakout season after a good spring practice. He is the stater at nose tackle entering fall camp.

2004: Eight tackles in limited action...4 hits, 1 for loss in most extensive playing time of the season against Oklahoma Panhandle State.

High School: Two-time all-district pick and All-Galveston Country as a senior under coach Warren Trahan...Helped team finish 8-2 with a co-district championship in his senior season...Also made All-Mainland and was honorable mention all-county as a junior...Dickinson never had a losing season in his four years.

Personal: 21 years ol, born 9/5/84...His father is a doctor...Clayton Christopher Elliott is the youngest of four children (Forrest, 26; Patrick, 22; and Candice, 23) and he plans to major in communications.
