“P-Earl” moved from tailback to fullback for spring practice and should add another dimension to an already strong position with his athleticism.

2007: After winning Joe Delaney Bowl MVP honors to cap spring practice, Earl injured a hamstring midway through preseason camp and missed the first four games... ran for 66 yards on 16 carries while seeing action in seven games... averaged 4.1 yards per carry... also caught four passes for 23 yards... ran for 22 yards on just two carries against Southeastern Louisiana and had 11 yards rushing on one carry to go along with two catches for 17 yards at Ole Miss.
2006: Second on the team in rushing with 251 yards on 70 carries with two touchdowns... averaged 25.1 yards per game and 3.6 yards per carry... caught one pass for three yards... season-best 81 yards on 13 carries against Arkansas-Monticello... carried the ball 13 times for 64 yards at Baylor... scored touchdowns against UAM and at Southeastern Louisiana.
2005: Redshirted.
Earl in High School: Second-team All-State in senior year who ran for 40 TDs, 4,500 career yards... honorable mention All-State junior year... three-time first-team all-district... District MVP in junior and senior seasons... team went 23-23 in his four years with a regional championship... four-year letterman in football and track... two-year letterman in basketball... named offensive player of the year in basketball his sophomore season... Vice president of student council... Beta Club member four years... graduated with a 4.71 grade point average on a 5 point scale... coached by Rodney Thomas, a former NFL player.
Earl’s Personal: 21 years old, born 1/22/87... son of Charles and Winfred Paige... father is a construction worker and mother is a cook... has three siblings: Winfred (30), Padro (29), and Cole (24)... nicknamed “TuTu”... full name is Patrick Jermaine Earl... majoring in electronic engineering.
