Ragas got his first game experience last season and showed good skill and effort. His contributions should extend to special teams this fall.

Ragas in High School: Senior season, football MVP and named the number one Division I sleeper by Louisiana Magazine… team finished 8-4… selected to play in the Bayou Bowl pitting Louisiana against Texas… junior year, team finished 3-1 in a season shortened due to Hurricane Katrina… won the state title in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.6 seconds… track MVP… sophomore season, team finished 10-1 and lost to John Curtis in the state playoffs… lettered three years in football and two in track… member of the Chess Club.
