Prior to NSU:  Signed to play at Southern Arkansas but did not see the field.

George in High School:  Senior season, first team all-district as a running back and linebacker… all-state and all-Northeast Louisiana as a running back… rushed for 1,490 yards and 13 touchdowns while making 54 tackles with eight for a loss and an interception as he helped guide his team to its first District 4-1A championship in school history… as a junior, rushed for 498 yards and six tds and earned second team all-district honors… named District 4-1A Offensive MVP as a senior… as a member of the track team, led is school to back-to-back District 4-1A championships in 2006 and 2007… lettered two years in football, basketball, track and baseball… a member of the Student Council and 4-H Club.

George's Personal:  Born Feb. 11, 1989… son of John Turner and Sallie George… one brother, Josh Turner, and a sister, Tamara Pitts… his aunt, Stephanie Livine, served the United States Armed Forces in Afghanistan… majoring in business management.
