Biography

Will redshirt this year after becoming a starter as a true freshman.

2006: Played in 10 games recording 28 tackles, 20 solos... second on the team with three interceptions... had 1 1/2 tackles for a loss, one sack and eight pass break-ups... season-high seven tackles with a TFL and a sack at Ole Miss (Nov. 4)... intercepted passes against Arkansas-Monticello (Sept. 30), Sam Houston State (Oct. 7) and Texas State (Oct. 28), which he returned 19 yards.

Adams in High School: Earned all-district honors as a wide receiver and defensive back as a freshman, sophomore and senior at Jasper High School... all-region and Super Gold honors as a sophomore and senior... broke his ankle his junior year but still managed to earn al-district honorable mention honors... finished his high school career with 11 interceptions and 164 tackles... offensively, had 51 career receptions for 1,463 yards and 29 touchdowns... graduated with a 3.8 grade point average.

Adams' Personal: 19 years old, born 3/15/88... son of Carl and Donna Adams... one brother, Jarrodd (14)... dreams of playing in the NFL or would like to coach high school football... majoring in health & human exercise.
