A hard worker who had a good spring practice, Robinson is an intriguing element in the Demons' tailback mix. One of the nation's more highly-ranked recruits in high school, he originally signed with LSU but transferred to Northwestern for his redshirt freshman season in 2006.

2007:  Carried the ball nine times for 14 yards in seeing action in four games.

2006:  Played in nine games where he saw action on both sides of the ball and on special teams... rushed the ball 15 times for 49 yards, totaled four tackles, and returned two kickoffs for 29 yards... carried the ball five times for 18 yards against Texas State (Oct. 28)... both of his kickoff returns came at Ole Miss (Nov. 4).

Prior to NSU:  Signed out of high school by LSU.

Robinson in High School: The top running back prospect in the state ... recognized as one of the best running backs in the Deep South ... member of Tom Lemming's Prep All-America team in 2004 ... also rated as the nation's No. 14 running back prospect by Collegefootballnews.com and No. 21 by ESPN ... member of the Baton Rouge Advocate Super Dozen, the New Orleans Times-Picayune Top 20 Blue-Chip list and was a 3A first-team all-state selection ... rushed for 1,672 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior ... as a junior, totaled 1,348 yards on the ground and 16 touchdowns ... earned letters in basketball and track.
