Walker won't play in 2008 but is expected back for the 2009 season.
2007: Played in nine games getting 11 tackles with six solos... also had two tackles for a loss and one fumble recovery... had a season-high four tackles in the season opener against Henderson State.
2006: Saw action in eight games recording 10 tackles... had 1 1/2 tackles for loss and a sack to go along with three qb hurries... got a sack and a tackle for loss at Baylor (Sept. 9)... season-high two stops at Kansas (Sept. 2), vs. Delaware State (Sept. 16) and at Ole Miss (Nov. 4).
2005: Redshirted.
Walker in High School: Two-time All-District performer ... his teams went a combined 27-8 while he was a starter ... led team in sacks his junior year with 12 and his senior year with 14 ... also threw the discus for a state champion track team in his junior year ... a member of the French Club and Frontline.
Walker’s Personal: 22 years old, born 12/8/85... son of Dorthy and Larry Walker, Sr... seven siblings, April (21), Netara (19), Aaron (15), Graig (23), Irvin (26), LaTasha (28) and Larrie (28)... majoring in health and exercise science and plans to coach.
