SLC Commissioner’s Fall Academic Honor Roll
2010: Saw action in all 11 games with one start and made one tackle... was the team’s holder on field goals and extra points.
2009: Played in all 11 games and finished with 10 tackles with a pass breakup... had a career-high three tackles against Texas State on Oct. 24.
2008: Made four tackles in 11 games played… also returned a kick for 51 yards against Southeastern Oklahoma… had half of his stops against Texas A&M-Commerce in the season opener.
2007: Squadsman.
LeBlanc in High School: All-district, All-Metro, and second team all-state his senior season at cornerback for Holy Cross... all-district honors as a junior where he also returned kicks and punts... also lettered in baseball where, as a freshman, helped his team to the championship of the 15-year old Babe Ruth World Series… President of Student Activity Board… President of Project Fur and Wetland's Conservation.
LeBlanc's Personal: Born Sept. 24, 1988... son of Phil LeBlanc, Sr. and Shelly LeBlanc... one brother, Patrick and a sister, Tess... grandfather, Richie Boudreaux, played for Oklahoma and Bud Wilkinson in the 1964 Orange Bowl... majoring in business administration… full name is Phillip Thomas LeBlanc, Jr… nickname is “Pip.”
