Henderson in High School:  A two-year first-team All-State selection ... named District Offensive MVP as coach Scott Surratt's Carthage team won its second straight state championship with a perfect 16-0 record in 2009 ... started 44 consecutive varsity games ... named the Smoaky.com East Texas "Offensive Lineman of the Year" for 2009 ... first-team All-East Texas by the Longview News ... 94 percent season grade with 128 knockdown blocks ... did not allow a sack ... as a junior, helped Bulldogs go 14-2 in their first state championship season ... made first-team Smoaky.com All-East Texas ... district's "Outstanding Offensive Lineman" ... in his sophomore season, CHS went 9-3 and won the district title as he was first-team All-District and the district's offensive "Newcomer of the Year" has lettered twice in both powerlifting and track and field.

Henderson’s Personal:  Born Nov. 25, 1991... son of Kenny and Priscilla Henderson... father works for the City of Carthage and mother works for Tyson Foods... has one younger brother, Kedrick Carver Henderson (13)... father played two years at Trinity Valley CC... has cousins who played for SMU and North Texas, and the former Mustang was drafted by Denver.
