2013 Season: Played in all 12 games, and started one… career-high five tackles against McNeese State and Langston… recorded 3.5 sacks against Langston for a loss of nine yards… recorded four tackles and a fumble recovery against Nicholls… four tackles against Sam Houston… three tackles against Southern and Cincinnati.

High School: All-State selection as an offensive tackle but shined as a defensive end as well for the 2009 Class A state champion Golden Tornado (13-2) ...made 15 tackles for lost yards and seven sacks among his 63 total tackles for coach David Franklin ... All-Area Defensive MVP ... All-District both ways ... was All-District at defensive end in his sophomore and junior seasons ... honorable mention All-State as a junior, when Haynesville went 11-3 and lost in the state semifinals to eventual champion South Plaquemines, the team the Tors beat for the state title a year later ... set a state Class A record with a 153-0 discus throw ... state runner-up in the event ... also fifth in the state in the 400m dash and ran on the Tors’ 4x200m relay and 4x400m relay teams ... member of FCA and Character Counts .. took part in Haynesville Cleanup Day? ?

Demetric is a NFL veteran defensive end who played for the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and in his last two seasons, the San Francisco 49ers ... their cousin, Doug Evans, played 10 years in the NFL with Green Bay and Seattle ... full name is Justin Dewayne Evans ... nickname: “Debo,”  “Big Evans,” “J”... born 10/3/91.
