2013 Season: Appeared 11 games with two starts… rushed for 18 yards on two attempts... long of 16 yards, came against Stephen F. Austin.

2012 Season: Saw action in all 11 games at fullback and tight end… four yards on one attempt against Nicholls with 17 yards receiving on two catches… eight yards receiving on one catch… returned two kicks for 19 yards at Stephen F. Austin… one return for yards versus both Nevada and Lamar.

2011 Season:  Appeared in nine games, before an ankle injury at Sam Houston sidelined him … didn’t get credited with any receptions or rushes, but may have been the Demons’ most impressive true freshman on offense while lining up at a crowded tight end position.

High School:  Lettered three years in football and two years in track…as a freshman, led the freshman A-team to a district title and an undefeated season in football and placed first in the district in the shot put….sophomore season, football varsity team held a 12-1 record, became district and area champs, made the third-round of the state playoffs; in track and field, recorded his longest throw in the shot put at 45’3”…junior season, he made two catches for 98 yds. and was named the All-District and All-Academic 2nd team while the team became back-to-back area champions with a consecutive third-round appearance in the playoffs and earned the No. 21 state ranking; in the shot put, he was named most improved with his longest throw from 52 feet and nine inches….flourished on the gridiron with 20 catches and 428 yds. and five touchdowns and selected 1st team All-District and All-Academic and team offensive MVP while the team went 11-2 with another district and area title and ranked eighth in the state…contributed to 79-game winning streak during his three years on the varsity team…he capped his high school football career with a No.88 ranking on Scout.com and No. ranking on ESPN…earned All-A Honor Roll and academic letters three years in a row….selected to the National Honor Society, participated in the Chess Club and served as Sunday School Youth Superintendent and church drummer…graduated in 2011 with a 3.74 G.P.A.

Personal: Born Christopher Dever, Jr. on November 15, 1993….eldest son of Christopher, Sr. and Angela Dever…has two brothers, Le’Andre and Brandon ...cousin, Donyell Booker, played in the AFL, cousin, Willie Gaston, played for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens….majoring in industrial engineering technology….wants to open his own construction company after graduation…his life’s ambition is “to do my best in whatever I do and become successful”…..nickname: “Doodee,” “Deeve.”
