2015 Spring: Most experienced QB vying for the NSU starting job. Completed 7-of-19 for 114 passing yards and a touchdown and two interceptions in scrimmages.
 
2014 Season: Appeared in five games and compiled 31 passing yards, 12 rushing yards and 12 receiving yards … threw for a season-high 32 yards against Incarnate Word and a long pass of 24 yards … caught a 12-yard pass against Baylor.
 
2013 Season: Appeared in four games … was 3-of-4 for 31 yards passing … completed two passes against Langston and Sam Houston State … had 41 passing yards in his homecoming at Sam Houston.
 
2012 Season: Redshirted.
 
High School:  A four-time academic all-district performer and a three-year member of the varsity football squad … passed for 1,800 yards his junior season while leading his team to the state playoffs … also averaged 11 points per game in basketball and was a regional qualifier in the 300 meter hurdles … averaged 18 points per game as a freshman … lettered three years in football, basketball and track … member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and FCA … graduated with 5.0 GPA.
 
Personal:  Son of C.F. and Kathy Hazlewood … one brother, Carl (35) ... brother played tight end for NSU from 2003-04 ... two sisters, Lindsey (33) and Sarah (26) … majoring in business and wants to pursue a career in banking or financial advising … nickname is “Bear”… born Sept. 6, 1993.
