2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in shot put, discus, and hammer throws across 10 meets…best event was shot put where he never finished outside the top-six prior to NCAA East Preliminary…took home to top spot in five meets including MSU Cowboy Relays/Bob Hayes La. Challenge (59-2), TCU Invitational (59-6 ¾), SFA Skecher’s Performance Carl Knight Invitational (57-11), ULM Warhawk Invitational (58-4), and Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (58-3)…placed second at McNeese Last Chance (58-1 ¾) and third at both LSU Alumnu Gold (58-8 ½) and the SLC Outdoor Championship (57-10 ¼)…best shot put throw of the year came in NCAA East Preliminary as he set a new career best mark of 61-3 ½…took home four top-10 finishes in discus events with best finish and distance coming at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (155-4)…placed seventh at both ULM Warhawk Invitational (137-9) and McNeese Last Chances (150-11)…competed in hammer throw four times on the year…best finish was fifth at Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (158-3) and season and career best came in SLC Outdoor Championships with at mark of 160-5
2018 Indoor Season: Competed in the shot put and weight throw in five meets this year, earning three top-five finishes in the shot put…took third place in two different meets, the LSU Bayou Bengal (54-1 ¾) and the SLC Championships, posting a career best 55-9 ¼ mark to earn the bronze…had top-10 finishes at each of the other three meets of the season with a fifth place mark at the TAMU Ted Nelson Invitational (53-1 ¾)…participated in the weight throw twice during the year with his best mark coming in the SLC Championships (51-4 ½).
2017 Outdoor Season: Competed in the shot put, discus and hammer throw...had eight total top-five finishes...had three first-place finishes in the shot put, winning the McNeese Cowboy Relays (56), Louisiana Tech Jim Mize Invitational (54-9 ¾), Baylor Invitational (56-4)...finished second in the Texas A&M-Commerce East Texas Invitational (54-1 ¼)…finished fourth in the Southland Outdoor Championships (55- ¼)…took fifth in the UH Tom Tellez Invitational (54- ½) and in the UTA Bobby Lane Invitational (53-6 ¼)…finished eighth at the Texas Relays (52-10 ¾)…had two-five finishes in the discus….finished fifth in the McNeese Cowboy Relays (137-4)…was seventh at the La Tech Jim Mize Invitational (138-2 ½)….had two top-eight finishes in the hammer throw…finished fourth at the TAMUC East Texas Invitational (136-5)….was sixth in the McNeese Cowboy Relays (147-10).
2017 Indoor Season: Competed in the shot put and weight throws...had four top-five performances in the shot put...in the shot put, finished second in the LSU Purple Tiger Invitational (52-7 ¼)...finished third in the UAB Vulcan Invite (52-7 ¼)...in weight throw, finished fourth in the LSU Purple Tiger Invitational (51-7 ¼)...finished top-10 in the
2016 Outdoor Season: Competed in the shot put, discus and hammer throws … had five first-place finishes in the shot put, including winning the SLC Outdoor Championships (55-11) … qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary, where he was 41
st (53-10 ½) … in the discus throw, he was top-20 in every meet, with his best result being fourth at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (141-5) … finished 19th in the SLC Outdoor Championships (131-2) … had two top-five results in the hammer throw, a fourth (137-3 ½) in the Louisiana Tech Jim Mize Invitational, and a fifth (148-1) in the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational … claimed 16
th in the SLC Outdoor Championships (135-4).
2016 Indoor Season: Participated in the shot put and weight throw in five meets … finished in the top-5 in every shot put meet, with his best result being second (52-1 ¼) in the LSU Bayou Bengal … took bronze in the SLC Indoor Championships (55-5 ¾) … finished top-10 in all three meets he competed in with the weight throw … was eighth overall in the SLC Indoor Championships (51-2 ¼).
2015 Outdoor Season: Competed in the shot put, hammer, and discus throws… had eight top-five performances with six being podium places… is now second of Top-five Demon Performers in the hammer with a 141-5 throw at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational… placed first in the shot with a season best throw of 53-10 ¼…in the discus had a distance of 135-5 at the Demon Triangular Invite.
2015 Indoor Season: Competed at four meets in the shot put… had two top-5 marks… placed first at the SLC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 53- ¼ , his season best.
High School: Played two years of football and was a two time All-State… was the shot put champion in Track in Field in high school... ranked top-10 in the nation in the shot put in 2013… finished third at the Junior Olympic Meet in August 2014… was a three-sport athlete that graduated with a 3.475… his coach was his father, Clifford.
Personal: Son of Joycelyn and Clifford Paul… born October 5, 1995… majoring in computer information systems and business administration...plans to work with the AT&T cyber division… father, Clifford is a 1995 NSU graduate and was a member of the Demon football and track & field teams.
