SLC Commissioner’s Fall Academic Honor Roll
Voted the White Team’s Offensive MVP of the 2010 Delaney Bowl spring game after he rushed for 55 yards on 17 carries.
2011: In seven games and four starts he rushed for 159 yards on 59 carries and three touchdowns… also had 24 yards on four receptions… season’s best performance came against Lamar were he had 18 rushes for 55 yards and two touchdowns.
2010: Fourth on the team in rushing after compiling 151 yards on the ground on 49 carries... also caught nine passes for 41 yards... played in all 11 games and touched the ball at least three times a contest... ran for a season-high 26 yards on nine carries against Tarleton State and had 21 yards rushing on five carries against McNeese State.
2009: Saw action in two games and rushed for one yard on two carries against Houston in the season opener.
High School: Second-team all-state, all-district, and WDAM-All-Area senior year... Ran for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns before tearing cartilage in right knee junior year... Ran for 1,100 yards, 10 touchdowns and helped his team win the district championship and advance to the third round of the playoffs senior year... Lettered 5 years in track, 3 years in basketball, and 4 years in football... graduated with a 3.2 gap
Personal: Son of David Riley and Warnetta Geeston... three siblings Lashonza, David Jr., and Jan... majoring in broadcast journalism and would like to become an on-field announcer for ESPN.
