Biography

2011 Season: Started the last two games, received an 85 percent grade on the season with 13 knockdowns on 248 snaps played… opened the season with 45 snaps and 4 knockdowns for a 78 percent grade… season-high seven knockdowns against SMU with an 80 percent grade and 51 snaps… 80 percent grade and 22 snaps at Nicholls… played in 60 snaps at Sam Houston for a 72 percent and one knockdown… missed part of the season due to injuries.

Before NSU: During the 2009 season, Isaac was named All-Conference second team for Trinity Valley Community College while the team went 6-4 and finished the season as the runner-up for the Southwest Junior College Football Conference (SWJCFC) championship….named to the President’s and Dean List…was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

High School: lsaac excelled in multiple sports at Lanier High with letters in football and track & field (4), powerlifting (3), basketball (2) and wrestling (1)….freshman season, football team notched its best record in his high school career with eight wins and two losses and a second-round appearance in the playoffs….on the gridiron, Isaac was selected to back-to-back All-District first-team in his last two years with an All-CenTex first team selection in his senior year…was a member of the Chess Club and Anime Club…graduated in 2003.

Personal: Born Isaac Fiafia Puapuaga on September 5, 1985….son of Fiafia, a cement truck dispatch, and Leilani Puapuaga, a stay-at-home mother of 13……has 12 siblings….majoring in CIS with a 3.2 grade point average…wants to pursue a career in computer software/web design…his life’s ambition is to “become financially stable to be able to take care of my family and friends”….nickname: “Ice”, “Ike”.
