Biography

2011: Season-high 14 yards rushing in Homecoming game against Southeastern Louisiana on two attempts… two rushes for five yards at Nicholls… two yards on two rushes against Stephen F. Austin… one rush for four yards at Southern Methodist.

High School: Led North Shore to three district championships in four years on the junior varsity and varsity levels with two undefeated seasons in his first two years in high school and an 11-2 record in his final season…as a member of the junior varsity team, Keenan threw 85 TD’s including 51 TD’s as a sophomore (the most in North Shore J.V. history)…the following year, he became the first junior to start for North Shore varsity football team in 10 years…he finished out his career in a Mustang uniform with a 1st Team All-District selection…made the Honor Roll and graduated in 2011 with a 3.5 grade point average.
Personal: Born Keenan Lemel Gibson on October 23, 1991…son of Anthony Gibson, Sr.…father has worked for the Galena Park Independent School District (TX) for 30 years…has five siblings, Welton (30), Anthony, Jr., (23), Brishae Olney (14), Trinity (6), and Kandice Sneed…cousin Daniel Gibson plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers…since high school, Keenan has put his life’s ambition of giving back to the community in motion through organizing a food drive for the homeless…majoring in kinesiology…he aspires to play in the NFL and coach after he hangs up his cleats.
