2011 Season: Second on the team with 77 tackles - 46 of those solo… had three tackles for loss, seven quarterback hurries, one blocked kick, and two forced fumbles… one interception and one fumble recovery…interception came against Southeastern Louisiana… had 13 tackles at LSU…. 10 tackles at Lamar… nine tackles against Texas State including a tackle for loss… recorded eight tackles against SLC rival Stephen F. Austin.
2010: Second on the team with 86 tackles - 50 of those solo... played in all 11 games with four starts... second on the squad with eight pass break ups... had three tackles for a loss, one QB hurry, a forced fumble, and blocked a kick... four games where he recorded 10 or more tackles and had a career-high 15 stops against Nicholls... followed that up with 12 tackles against SFA in the season finale... had 13 tackles against Samford where nine of his stops were solos, and 11 vs. Sam Houston State... had two PBUs both against Central Arkansas and SFA and blocked a kick at Texas State.
2009: Recorded five tackles in five games…season high of three against McNeese…three unassisted and two assisted. Recorded tackles against North Dakota, McNeese, and Stephen F. Austin.
2008: A member of the Demon scout squad.
Booker in High School: Senior season, first team all-state and all-district… defensive MVP… Terrell HS Athlete of the Year… Dallas Morning News Athlete of the Week… 160 tackles, four forced fumbles, three blocked kicks, one punt return for a touchdown… district champion in the long jump and second in the triple jump… junior season, first team all-district… defensive MVP… Terrell HS Athlete of the Year… 140 tackles… four forced fumbles… four blocked kicks… three interceptions… second team all-district in basketball and district champion in long jump and second in triple jump… sophomore season, district Sophomore of the Year… 100 tackles… one interception… basketball Newcomer of the year… third in the triple jump at the district track meet… National Honor Roll and a member of the Student Council.
Booker's Personal: Born Jan. 10, 1990… son of Walter McCullar and Tracie Booker… three brothers, Byron and Shabrun Booker and Markethian Shaw and two sisters, Brenecia Booker and Waltikia Shaw… Markethian plays semi-pro ball… majoring in criminal justice and wants to work in a juvenile detention center… nickname is “Book.”
