Biography

2013 Season: Appeared in three games, and recorded career-high six tackles against Central Arkansas... had one tackle in the season-opener at Missouri State.

2012 Season: Played in 11 games with a season-high four tackles against Texas Tech… three tackles against Lamar with an interception for three yards… two tackles against Mississippi Valley State… tackle for loss against Southeastern Louisiana.

2011 Season:  Earned a start against McNeese State and recorded four tackles… saw action in seven games, tackled seven opponents and broke up two passes.

2010 Season:  Lettered but did not see any game time.

High School:  170 career tackles, two interception returns for touchdowns for the powerful Bulldogs while winning five letters ... played on two state championship teams, as a freshman and junior ... LHS was 13-1 and reached the state semifinals in his senior season, when he had three interceptions, including one returned for a score, 50 tackles including a sack ... a second-team all-district selection in 2009 ... made 60 tackles and had an interception runback for a TD as a junior on the 2008 Class 3A state champions under coach Tim Detillier ... part of the Class 3A bronze-medal 4x200 meter relay team as a sophomore, earning all-district honors in track ... helped Bulldogs win district title in track and finish second in the region in 2009 as a junior ... 3.1 grade point average, member of Beta Club.
