2010:  Saw action in nine games and recorded 13 tackles with one tackle for a loss... broke up one pass and had two quarterb ack hurries... season-high six stops with a TFL against Samford on Sept. 11. 

Prior to NSU:  Was at Arkansas State for three seasons before transferring but was active for two... played in eight games in 2009 and had four tackles... recorded seven tackles, one for a loss, in 2008 and appeared in two games in 2007 (at Tennessee and Middle Tennessee) before redshirting.

Adams in High School:  Georgia Class 2A Defensive Player of the Year as a senior, when he made 110 tackles ... became first from his school to play in the Georgia HS All-Star Game ... finished with 417 career tackles ... had 117 tackles and eight sacks as a junior to earn Georgia Class 1A Defensive Player of the Year ... broke school single-season tackles and sacks records ... had 101 tackles as a sophomore, 89 as a freshman at Cleveland HS ... lettered twice in track and once in baseball ... had a 3.0 GPA ... member of 6-4 Randolph-Clay HS team that recorded the programs 100th victory in 2006 . . . helped lead the Red Devils to a 10-2 record and the region championship (first in school history) in 2005 . . . 2005 and 2006 Georgia Defensive Player of the Year . . . posted 105 tackles (second most in state), eight tackles for loss, seven sacks (tied fourth most in state) as a senior . . . senior season was first player in school history named to the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Football Team . . . preseason All-State selection as a senior . . . Adams' Personal:  Born Feb. 8, 1989 . . . attended Arkansas State for two seasons before transferring for spring 2009 semester at NSU ... son of Michael and Debra Adams ... father is a coach, mother is a teacher ... father played for the New Orleans Saints after being a third-round draft pick from Arkansas State ... sociology major who wants to become a college coach.
