2015 SOUTHLAND CONFERENCE COMMISSIONER’S FALL HONOR ROLL

2019 Season: Started all 12 games and finished his career with a streak of 16 straight starts ... finished as NSU's fifth-leading tackler with 55 tackles (39 solo) ... recorded six tackles in four games (at Sam Houston State, at McNeese, at Incarnate Word and at UT Martin) ... also forced a fumble and had two tackles for loss at McNeese ... notched a career-high eight tackles (5 solo) against Southeastern Louisiana on Sept. 28 ... recorded pass breakups at UT Martin and at UIW. 
    
2018 Season: Played in eight games, starting seven … was third among safeties with 23 tackles, including 14 solo stops … intercepted a pass and had a pass break-up at Abilene Christian … forced a fumble vs. Houston Baptist … made career-high nine tackles (six solo) against Abilene Christian…made five tackles in the win over rival Stephen F. Austin.
    
2017 Season: Started in 10 games and appeared in all 11 games at safety as a sophomore … ranked third among all safeties with 28 tackles … 16 solo stops with 12 assists … season-best four tackles in three different games (Lamar, Nicholls, SHSU) … intercepted a pass against SHSU … added three tackles in three other games (ACU, SFA, HBU) … 2.5 tackles for loss, including a solo stop against Grambling … recovered a fumble at La. Tech.
    
2016 Season: Appeared in 10 games and started seven of the last nine … made 28 tackles, 18 solo … intercepted one pass against Nicholls … broke up three passes ... career-high six tackles at Central Arkansas (three solo) … recorded five tackles each against UIW and McNeese -- all solo stops … forced a fumble against Kentucky Wesleyan … made three tackles each against Kentucky Wesleyan and Lamar.
    
2015 Season: Redshirted.
    
High School: Helped team to a 9-2 record as a senior after program won just four games combined in three previous seasons … collected 800 yards as a rusher and receiver while scoring 16 touchdowns as a senior… three-time first-team all district and was the district MVP as a senior … made seven interceptions in two seasons as a defensive back … lettered in basketball and track … second-team all-district basketball performer and reached track regionals in 110 meter hurdles … school athlete of the year as a junior … lettered two years in baseball.
    
Personal: Son of Tamara and Foster Forde … one brother Michael and one sister Whitney Charles  … both parents are post office employees … former NFL running back Jamaal Charles is Nick’s brother-in-law … health and exercise science major with a 3.0 GPA ... aims for a career in athletic performance with an ambition to help others attain their goals much like others have helped him.
