Biography

2019 Season: Appeared in seven games, starting at Sam Houston State … had three tackles at Nicholls on Oct. 12 … notched a pair of two-tackle games against Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 28) and Central Arkansas (Oct. 19).

Prior to NSU: Spent one season each at UAB and Hutchinson Community College .. did not see action at UAB ... played in eight games at Hutchinson, collecting 12 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and one sack ... had a season-high three tackles, two TFLs and one sack in a 31-28 win against Garden City Community College.

High School: Played at both Landry-Walker and Riverdale ... earned first-team all-district honors as a junior at Riverdale ... also wrestled in high school.

Personal: Born Aug. 28, 1997 ... son of Chevelle Butler ... has one sister, Chanel, and one brother, Marquise ... majoring in communication ... plans to become a football coach ... nickname is Juggernaut.
