2019 Season: Appeared in 11 games, starting nine ... finished third on the team with 7.0 tackles for loss, recording 41 yards of losses ... tied for the team lead with 4.0 sacks ... had a busy day in the McNeese backfield on Nov. 2, tallying 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack ... had three of his four sacks in the final five games of the season ... recorded a season-high seven tackles in a 44-41 overtime win at Incarnate Word on Oct. 26 ... had two tackles for loss, including a sack, at No. 4 LSU on Sept. 14. 

2018 Season: Appeared in all 11 games, starting the final nine … was a dominant force along the defensive line, leading the team in tackles for loss with 10.5 … third on the team in sacks with 3.5 … blocked a potential game-tying extra point at Lamar, preserving the 49-48 win … fifth on the team with 49 tackles, tops among defensive linemen … had a season-high 10 tackles against nationally ranked Nicholls, including 3.5 tackles for loss (one sack) … had a pair of tackles for loss against Sam Houston State and Stephen F. Austin … forced a fumble against Southeastern Louisiana, which was recovered in the end zone for a touchdown … recovered a fumble in the win over Grambling.
    
Prior to NSU: Played one season at Trinity Valley Community College and spent two seasons at Colorado State … recorded 43 tackles (27 solo) and 3.5 sacks for the Cardinals … forced two fumbles as TVCC went 9-3 and won the Heart of Texas Bowl … teammate of current NSU teammates Shelton Eppler, Khalil Corbett-Canada and Blake Stephenson … played the 2016 season at Colorado State, appearing in nine games with six starts … collected 17 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks … redshirted in 2015.
    
High School: Lettered two seasons for coach Bob Wager … helped lead the Warriors to a 20-6 record in two seasons … Martin went 10-3 in his second season posting a 7-0 mark in district play … first-team all-district selection after notching 69 tackles, including 10 for losses and two sacks, as a senior … posted 63 tackles, seven for losses and 5.5 sacks as a junior … lettered in track and field in the shot put … was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Multicultural Alliances.

Personal: Son of Crystal and Wharlest Jackson … dad is an entrepreneur ... one sister, Torrian Childs ... majoring in general studies/business ... has an associate degree of arts from Trinity Valley CC ... plans to either coach at his high school or go into the fire academy ... life’s ambition is to be a wealthy businessman and to be an amazing father to his future family.
