2019 Season: Special teams ace appeared in 10 games … recorded special teams tackles against Stephen F. Austin (Nov. 21) and Lamar (Nov. 9) … blocked a punt at McNeese on Nov. 2.

2018 Season: Played 10 games as a sophomore as a special teamer … recorded 10 tackles, including four solo stops … had a career-high three tackles, all on kickoff returns, in the Homecoming win over Houston Baptist … had multiple tackles against Sam Houston State and Central Arkansas.
  
2017 Season: Special teams player who appeared in all 11 games … made one tackle, which forced a fumble against Louisiana Tech on a kickoff … returned one kickoff for 11 yards

High School: Two-time district Defensive MVP … first-team Academic All-State … second-team All-DFW … was second-team Fort Worth Star-Telegram Super Team member as a junior … as a sophomore, won defensive Newcomer of the Year honors … career totals of 433 tackles (252 unassisted), 25 tackles for loss, 5 sacks and 2 interceptions … season highs of 106 tackles (junior), 3 sacks (senior) and 1 interception (sophomore and junior) … returned a fumble for a touchdown as a junior … helped Arlington Heights go 8-2 in his senior year, 11-1 in his junior season while winning district and bi-district championships … team was 5-6 in his sophomore year … played for coach Phil Young in football, Shad Whitely in baseball, and Charles Perry and his father, Curtis James, in powerlifting and football …  lettered three times in football, twice in powerlifting, once in baseball.
