A big and speedy receiver, Bailey has shown a sticky pair of hands with the ability to make catches in traffic, to hold on after a big hit, and to break tackles downfield. He has good leaping ability and can with the "jump ball" type play. Bailey is also a fine blocker. He had a good season last year after bouncing back from being academically ineligible in 2005.

2006: Ranked fourth on the team with 21 catches with the third highest total of 314 yards receiving... led the team with four touchdown catches and a 15.0 yards per catch average... pulled in a career-high 131 yards on a game-high 7 catches in a win over Sam Houston State... also had 7 grabs for 47 yards and a score at Kansas to open the season... also had touchdown catches at Southeastern Louisiana, vs. Texas State and against McNeese State.

2004: Ranked fifth on the team with 10 catches for 181 yards and a touchdown... third on the team with a 25.9 receiving yards per game average... had three catches for 40 yards at Montana in the 1-AA playoffs... two catches for 69 yards, including a 45-yard reception, at Stephen F. Austin... two catches for 43 yards and a touchdown against McNeese State with the td catch coming of a 32-yard reception.
2003: Third on the team with 14 receptions for 218 yards, 15.6 per catch, and a TD in his first collegiate season... had a sensational 12-yard leaping snag at Tulane for a first down... led Demons with 2 catches for 47 yards, including a 35-yard TD from Ryan Lewis against Oklahoma Panhandle... led NSU with 3 catches for 37 yards in a nationally televised win over Texas State... season-best totals of 4 catches for 76 yards vs. Stephen F. Austin.
Bailey in High School: A two-time first-team All-District 2-5A choice, he was All-Bossier Parish as a senior despite playing in a run-oriented attack... had 20 catches for 419 yards and 4 TDs at receiver, and played some at defensive back... helped the Vikings go 9-3 and reach as high as No. 2 in the state rankings before a second-round loss in the playoffs in his senior year... Airline went 8-3 and was ranked as highly as No. 5 in the state before a first-round defeat in his junior season... also lettered three years in track and two times in basketball.
