High School: Four-year letterman for coach Jerwin Wilson’s Knights … played in the I-20 Bowl Game following his senior season … second-team all-district selection as a wide receiver and defensive back as a senior, helping Woodlawn reach the state quarterfinals … was a team captain his senior year … caught 43 passes for 826 yards and 13 touchdowns, rushed for 119 yards and threw for 177 while accounting for six 2-point conversions as a senior … picked off six passes, returning them for 113 yards, recorded 42 tackles (2 for loss), forced two fumbles and recovered one as a senior … second-team all-district wide receiver as a junior as Woodlawn went 10-2 and reached the second round of the state playoffs … also lettered in track and field and holds a 4.2 grade point average.
