High School: Two-time all-district tackle whose team was 19-3 in his last two seasons … as a senior for coach Phil Young, his team went 8-2 and won the district title ... squad went 11-1 and won district and bi-district titles in his junior season … as a junior, was an area qualifier in track and field, and a regional qualifier in powerlifting … carrying a 3.5 grade point average and has been an honor roll student … teammate of fellow NSU signee Corban James (LB).

Personal: Born May 27, 1997 … son of Charles and Meredith Perry, both educators … one older brother, Rustin (22) … his father is a coach at Arlington Heights ... secondary education major with a 3.8 GPA … member of national honors society … treasurer for environmental club … participated in the presidential leadership program at NSU … father was an All-Southwest Conference defensive tackle at Texas Tech, and played arena ball as a center and guard for the Dallas Texans … grandparents were also educators … his grandmother held a doctorate in education and was a professor at Tarleton State.
