Spring 2018: In Delaney Bowl, threw for 109 yards on 8-of-11 with one touchdown and one interception.
 
2017 Season: Appeared in one game at quarterback … completed first career pass vs. Southeastern, an eight-yard pass … completed 1-of-3 passes in his only outing.

2017 Spring: Leading passer in second scrimmage with 112 yards on 7 of 12 aim, after going 9 of 15 for 119 yards in the opening scrimmage  … went 7-13-1 for 127 yards in Delaney Bowl spring game, throwing a 60-yard TD to Marquisian Chapman.

2016 Season: Redshirted.

High School: Rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports and the No. 60 pocket passer in the nation’s 2016 prospects … Rivals.com rated him a two-star prospect … four-year letterman who set school career records in completions (405), attempts (613), passing yards (4,567) and passing touchdowns (50) … two-time first-team All-District 6-5A quarterback … named first-team Clarion Herald Elite Team and was an honorable mention all-state awardee … district MVP as a senior when he threw for 2,361 yards and 27 touchdowns, helping St. Paul’s win the district championship and reach the state quarterfinals … named to the LHSCA All-Star Game and threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns on 10-of-13 passing … two-time WWL Player of the Week … named NOLA.com Male Player of the Week for his performance against Northshore when he threw for 389 yards and two touchdowns on 24-of-29 passing in a 55-14 victory … finished his junior year with 2,108 passing yards and 22 touchdown passes … named first-team all-district and led St. Paul’s to the state playoffs … team went 30-16, reached the state playoffs all four seasons and won three district titles.

Personal: Son of Mary Beth and Ken Sears … father is a former NSU football player and the current head coach and dean of students at St. Paul’s … mother is a paralegal … has one brother, Danny (12) … carries a 3.4 GPA and is a member of the President’s Honor Roll and a Lasallian Youth Leader … majoring in business administration … life’s ambition is “to be a loved husband, father and family man and to be a successful businessman” … had interest from Arkansas, Purdue, Southern Mississippi, UL Lafayette and Louisiana Tech but committed to NSU in June 2015.
