2017 Season: Made two starts and 10 appearances as an interior defensive lineman … totaled 22 tackles, third among defensive tackles … five tackles for loss … only sack came against HBU, in which he made three tackles and recovered a fumble … two tackles for loss part of four stops vs. ACU … also made four tackles at Grambling … added three tackles vs. McNeese and two against Nicholls and SFA … one quarterback hurry vs. SFA.

Prior to NSU: Second-team All-Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges … also named Most Improved as a sophomore … collected 25 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception.

High School: Four-year letterman at Louisville High School for coach M.C. Miller … named the top defensive lineman on the all-region team as a senior, helping Louisville go 8-5 and reach the third round of the playoffs … as a junior was named all-state as Louisville won the state championship and produced a 16-0 season … second-team all-region selection as a sophomore when Louisville went 8-5 and reached the fourth round of the playoffs … helped Louisville go 10-2 and reach the third round of the playoffs as a freshman. 

Personal: Born Nov. 7, 1996 … son of the late Mattie Sangster and Willie Sangster … married to the former Jenelle Geter … three sisters, Shara, Kesha and Quita, and one brother, Jeremy, who plays football at Southern Mississippi … graduated from East Central with a 3.4 GPA and had a 3.2 GPA in high school … majoring in sports medicine … plans to have an NFL career … life’s ambition is “to just make something out of myself and to pursue a career in the NFL.”
