2018 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Fall Honor Roll
2019 Season: Started nine games, appearing in 11 … tied for fifth on the team with two sacks … had 26 tackles, 16 of which were solo stops … his four tackles for loss tied for seventh on the team … had a season-best five tackles and forced a fumble at McNeese on Nov. 2 … collected a 10-yard sack in NSU’s 44-41 overtime win at Incarnate Word on Oct. 26 … recorded a sack at Houston Baptist on Sept. 21 … had a season-high 1.5 tackles for loss and blocked an extra point against Midwestern State on Sept. 7 … recorded at least three tackles in eight of his 11 games.
2018 Season: Appeared in 10 games, starting the last five ... had 21 tackles, including 12 solo ... six of his 21 stops were behind the line of scrimmage, which was tied for fourth on the team ... had two sacks in the win at rival Stephen F. Austin ... had 16 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and two sacks in the final four games ... recorded a season-high six tackles against Houston Baptist ... recovered a fumble at Central Arkansas ... had a pass break-up in the comeback win over Houston Baptist ... had a quarterback hurry in the double overtime win against McNeese.
2017 Season: Key reserve on the interior defensive line that appeared in all 11 games … made 25 tackles, ranking second among nose tackles as a freshman … four tackles for loss … one sack against SFA part of 1.5 TFL and two tackles overall … career-high five tackles against Lamar … had three three-tackle games (GSU, UCA, HBU) … four games of two tackles, including his first appearance at La. Tech.
High School: All-State defensive lineman played for coaches Ali Smith and Larry Densmore at Gadsden City … racked up a team-high 88 tackles (10 for loss) and four sacks to earn Class 7A all-state honors … team’s Defensive Most Valuable Player also earned first-team honors on the All-Messenger Team as a senior.
