High School: Four-year letterman for coach Lent Bursey’s Hornets ... named first-team all-district and first team All-Franklin Sun as a senior after recording 26 tackles, 11 pass breakups and three interceptions ... second-team all-district junior season in which he had 32 tackles, seven pass breakups and four interceptions ... intercepted one pass as a sophomore as Rayville went 9-5 and reached the state semifinals ... National Honor Society member graduated with a 3.2 grade point average.
