DEMON BROTHERS BOOSTER CLUB SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK (OCT. 18, 2022)

2022 Season: Picked up a pair of tackles in an Oct. 15 win at Houston Christian, earning NSU's Special Teams Player of the Week honor ... notched the first two tackles of his career in the Sept. 3 season opener at No. 2 Montana. 

2021 Fall: Appeared in one game, a Nov. 6 win against Houston Christian.

High School: Helped La Vega advance to the third round of the playoffs as a senior, including being a part of a defense that held the opposition to a total of seven points in two playoff wins ... defense pitched three shutouts and held seven opponents to 10 points or less ... as a junior, advanced to the state title game in Class 4A, won 14 games ... won the state title as a sophomore with 14 wins, defeating Liberty Hill in the title game ... also competed in track as a sprinter, part of a state championship as a sophomore ... graduated with a 3.4 grade point average.

Personal: Born April 4, 2003 ... son of Anthony Burns Sr. and Devenn Williams ... one younger sister Damice ... business administration major who owns a 3.0 gpa ... wants to start his own sports business ... life's ambition is "to be great in anything I do."
