2023 Season: Started all six games at tight end ... caught 15 passes, finishing the year with three straight multi-catch games ... had his second straight multi-reception game, snagging three passes at Lamar on Oct. 7 ... caught a career-high six passes for 42 yards against Eastern Illinois ... had a 32-yard grab among his two catches at Louisiana Tech on Sept. 9.
2022 Season: Ranked fifth on the team with 20 receptions and in receiving yards with 265 ... posted a career-high 58 receiving yards in a Nov. 19 loss to UIW ... found the end zone on a 31-yard catch at Southeastern on Nov. 12 ... grabbed a career-high five receptions at Eastern Illinois on Oct. 8 ... intercepted a Hail Mary pass to seal the Demons’ Oct. 1 win against Nicholls, his first pick since peewee football ... caught a then-career-best two passes for 37 yards in a Sept. 24 win against Lamar ... had a career-long, 50-yard catch at Southern Miss on Sept. 17 ... caught one pass in his NSU debut at No. 2 Montana on Sept. 3.
Prior to NSU: Spent two seasons at Chattanooga, appearing in one game ... also spent a year at Fork Union Military Academy.
High School: As a senior for coach Clifford Fedd, he caught 37 passes for 570 yards and 12 touchdowns as Dutchtown went 12-1, won its first regional title in 10 years and reached the third round of the state playoffs.
Personal: Born May 7, 2001 ... son of Thomas Jones, a former Grambling football player, and Margo Taylor ... has two brothers, Thomas Jones and James Hood ... majoring in general studies ... plans to play in the NFL, get into real estate and continue to build the family portfolio ... life’s ambition is to make sure his family is financially stable and give back to the youth in his community.
