2022 Season: Picked up the Demons' first sack and blocked kick of the season at No. 2 Montana on Sept. 3.
2021 Fall: Appeared in nine games, starting two ... had three tackles and a half sack in NSU’s Nov. 20 win at McNeese ... notched five tackles against Southeastern on Oct. 23 ... picked up his first sack of the season, a 5-yarder, against McNeese on Oct. 16 ... returned to action against Houston Baptist, making three tackles in the Demons’ win ... led Northwestern State with a career-high eight tackles against UT Martin on Sept. 18.
2021 Spring: Started in five of the six games, appeared in the other ... top defensive lineman on the team with 25 tackles ... his four TFLs rank second on the team ... two sacks rank third ... season-high eight tackles at Lamar, including two TFLs and half a sack ... added six tackles vs. Sam Houston, including half a sack ... added three tackles against McNeese ... two tackles with a sack at SLU.
2019 Season: Did not see game action ... redshirted.
High School: Four-year letterman for coach John Richardson’s Greyhounds ... earned all-district, all-parish and All-Southwest Louisiana honors ... tackling machine helped drive Welsh to a state runner-up finish as a senior, collecting 136 tackles, nine sacks and three forced fumbles ... keyed Welsh’s state championship run as a junior, notching 147 tackles, seven forced fumbles and five sacks ... totaled 365 tackles in his prep career in which he helped lead Welsh to four straight playoff appearances, all of which lasted until at least the quarterfinals... honor roll student and member of the Beta Club owns a 3.9 grade point average.
