Prior to NSU: Three-year letterman spent five seasons at the University of Kansas ... appeared in three games with the Jayhawks ... earned Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll honors three times.

High School: Three-year letterman for coach Rich Gutierrez ... two-year team captain as a junior and senior ... left as Canyon’s all-time leader in passing yards (6,887) and touchdowns (61) ... earned second-team all-state honors as a junior and was an all-league pick twice ... earned Canyon’s Scholar-Athlete Award four straight years and was named to the High School Scholar-Athlete Hall of Fame in the spring of 2017.
