2017 Season: Productive defensive end who made eight appearances as a freshman … totaled 19 tackles, second among all freshman and third among ends … career-high six tackles vs. UCA (three solo) … made three assisted tackles in his first appearance vs. La. Tech … added three tackles against Southeastern and a pair each against Nicholls and ACU … solo tackles against Grambling and McNeese.

High School: Three-year letterman for coaches Dennis Skains, Jason Faulk and Logan Duplechain … second-team Class 4A All-State pick as a senior after recording 90 tackles (12 for loss), eight sacks, seven quarterback hurries, five blocked field goals, three forced fumbles and three pass breakups … named first-team All-Acadiana and all-district and was named district defensive MVP … honorable mention all-district pick as a junior … awarded team’s most improved award as a sophomore … three-year baseball letterman as a first baseman … graduated with a 3.71 GPA … member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club.

Personal: Born March 2, 1999 … son of Hollie and Kerry Daigle … one younger brother, Jace, and one younger sister, Leah … plans to major in nursing … wants to “be good at what I do and love what I do” … life’s ambition is to make money and support his family.
