2017 Season: Appeared in all 11 games on the defensive line, making eight starts … totaled 26 tackles (11 solo), third among all NSU defensive linemen … top nose tackle on the team despite being undersized, has bull-like strength … had two tackles for loss … one pass breakup vs. Lamar … recovered a fumble against HBU … season-high five tackles against Nicholls, including three solo … made four tackles against HBU and McNeese.

2016 Season: Made a big impact as a true freshman up front … sustained a fractured arm playing in his hometown against Lamar, but missed only three weeks and valiantly returned to action late in the season … collected 24 tackles, including 2.5 for loss … 3 tackles at Baylor … 6, a season high, in week 2 vs. Incarnate Word … 5 hits at Southeastern … blocked a field goal at Lamar before getting hurt. 

High School: Made Dave Campbell’s 2015 Texas Football Subway Super Team … Southeast Texas Examiner 2015 Defensive Lineman of the Year … made the Beaumont Enterprise’s Super Gold Team … was a multiple-year All-District 21-6A selection … team captain for coach Kevin Flannigan’s Bruins … made 76 tackles (55 solo), including 19 tackles for loss (17 solo) … had five sacks, recovered three fumbles, forced one … five QB hurries, one blocked kick … was a four-year letterman in track and field and has been a regional qualifier in the discus for coach Eric Peevy … three-year letterwinner in football and powerlifting ... also lettered in baseball … reached state powerlifting meet in multiple years for coach Malcolm Isom ... member of the choir, the Brave program and aided the special education department. 

Personal: Son of Roderick and Sonja Bluiett … has three brothers, Jeremy, Caleb and Andrew … Andrew is a former NSU lineman … Caleb is former Texas defensive lineman … mother educated the boys while the family lived in the Philippines as missionaries … uncle Talmadge, recruited by Darrell Royal, was the first black athlete to attend Texas on a football scholarship in 1969  … born Sept. 28, 1997 … nickname is “Baby Blu”  … chose the Demons after interest from McNeese, Stephen F. Austin, Lamar, New Mexico State, UTSA, Eastern Michigan and Massachusetts ... psychology major.
