After spending a season on the scout team for academic reasons, this 2003 starter is a major addition to the Demons' offensive backfield foe 2005. A former honor roll student, May has shown outstanding blocking ability along with productive inside running and good hands and agility as a receiver out of the backfield. May has also been a shot putter for the NSU track and field team, scoring for the Demons in that event at the indoor and outdoor Southland Conference championships.

2004: Did not play

2003: Started all 11 games at fullback...Rushed for 104 yards on 10 carries with 2 touchdowns...Had 7 receptions for 24 yards and 2 more touchdowns...Caught the game-winning 3-yard TD pass with 7 seconds remaining in a 13-10 victory at La.-Monroe...Had one carry for a 34 yard TD against Texas State...Had 2 receptions for 7 yards and a TD against Sam Houston State.

2002: Modest yardage production did not measure his impact as a powerful blocker for tailbacks Derrick Johnese and Shelton Sampson...Broke loose for a 32-yard run in a 30-20 win over Southern as his offensive highlight.

High school: First-team 2-5A All-District at fullback senior season...Honorable mention All-district...Helped team post a 27-10 record and reach the State Championship games in his three years...Four-year letterman in track & field...Three-year letterman in football...Was state Track & Field MVP his senior year...Played with Jack Hunt and Kyle Williams of LSU and Robert Peace and Jeremy hamilton of Louisiana Tech in high school.
