Talented, tough left guard who played hurt in the second half of last season, Dunkelberger sat out spring practice after offseason knee surgery. He will be a key figure on the "Waddell Wall" as the Demons' O-line is counting on several young players to come to the fore this season. "Dunk" started some as a redshirt freshman and started throughout the season last year.

2003: Steadily improved in his redshirt freshman season and got extensive action, including some late-season starts, at right tackle...Graded 90% on 35 snaps with 2 pins vs Oklahoma Panhandle...82% grade on 35 plays with 2 pins in rout of Texas State...Got his first start and played 65 snaps vs Nicholla State, grading 68%...Improved to 79% on 62 plays with 2 pins at Sam Houston State...Had 79% grade on 63 snaps at McNeese State, getting 2 pins.
