Was presented the inaugural Chris Waddell Scholarship Award at the 2004 football awards dinner, recognizing him for his effort, unselfishness, leadership through example, academic and athletic performance as selected by the coaching staff from walk-ons and former walk-ons on the team, in memory of Chris Waddell.

2003: Graded 86% on 12 plays in his first extended action of his career against Delaware State...Saw spot duty throughout the year as a redshirt freshman.
