Speedy and smooth, Pittman is a three-year starter as a cover corner. He has deservedly earned the attention of NFL scouts due to his athleticism, toughness and his sprinter's speed. The Sports Network ranks him as the No.2 cornerback in Division I-AA, making him a first team Preseason All-American. He has four defensive TDs (three interceptions, one blocked field goal return)and two blocked kicks, Pittman suffered a fractured wrist in preseason last year, but missed only one game and made a pair of interceptions in his return to action against Jackson State in week two. He did not compete in track 7 field in 2005.

2004: Limited to 9 games due to injury, but still led the Demons in interceptions with 5 (136), including a 57-yard interception return for a TD in win at Stephen F. Austin, and was second on the team in pass breakups with 10...7 hits, 0.5 tackles for loss (-1), 1 pass breakup, and 2 interceptions (13) in win at Jackson State...One interception (8) in trouncing of Texas Southern...5 hits and 1 pass breakup in win over Appalachian State...1 hit and 2 pass breakups in win over Sam Houston State...LSWA Defensive Player of the Week for 5 hits, 1 tackle for loss (0), 3 pass breakups, and 2 interceptions, including the 57-yard TD, in win at Stephen F. Austin...5 hits and 2 pass breakups in playoff game at Montana.

2003: Led the Demons with 4 interceptions, returning them for 118 yards, including a 69-yard TD on the final play of the first half against Southeastern Louisiana...That was one of a I-AA record interception returns for TDs by the Demons against SLU in a bizarre 87-27 blowout...He later scored another TD on a 62-yard return of a blocked third-quarter field goal...His 55 tackles ranked sixth on the team...2 fumble recoveries...Had a leaping interception at Tulane...6 hits vs. Delaware State in near-shutout win...8 hits and 2 pass breakups in victory at Division I-A La.-Monroe...5 hits, one forced fumble, and a recovery at Northern Iowa...Blocked a punt vs Oklahoma Panhandle...Had an interception at Texas State in a 49-19 rout...5 hits, a blocked field goal, and an interception at Sam Houston State...5 hits at McNeese State...7 hits, 1 QB hurry, and 1 pass breakup vs Stephen F. Austin...Third on team with 7 pass breakups as teams began throwing away from hit, limiting his opportunities.

2002: Had a 41-yard interception return for a touchdown and 6 pass breakups in his rookie campaign...Got his TD against SW Texas to open a 23-7 lead in a 40-27 win...4 hits vs Elon in a 47-20 win at Nicholls State...Graded well throughout the season.
