2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in the long jump in nine meets and had four top-10 finishes…jumped a personal best and finished third at McNeese Last Chance (24-6 ½)…placed fifth at Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (23-11 ¾)…came in sixth at McNeese Cowboy Relays (23- ¾)…finished seventh at ULM Warhawk Classic (22- 1 ½).
2018 Indoor Season: Competed in the long jump in five meets and had two top-10 finishes…placed fifth at Ted Nelson Invitational (22-10 ¾ )…came in eighth in the SLC Indoor Championships (22-5 ¾)….also ran in the 60 dash at Pittsburg State Invitational (7.34).
2017 Outdoor Season: Competed in 100 dash and the long jump in four meets...had four top-five finishes...finished third and jumped an outdoor team season best in the Baylor Invitational (24-1)...also finished third in the SLC Outdoor Championships (23-5 ½)...finished fifth in the TCU Invitational (23-3 ½).
2017 Indoor Season: Competed in the long jump in four events...finished second and also a team season best jump in the UAB Vulcan Invite (23-3 ¼)...finished sixth in the SLC Indoor Championships (22-9 ¼).
2016 Outdoor Season: Participated in six meets in 11 different events as a decathlete for the Demons … best results came in the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational decathlon, winning the 100m (11.51), pole vault (11-7 ¼), shot put (37-3), discus throw (113-8), and javelin throw (150-1) resulting in a score of 5887 for a first place finish … also had a second place result in the long jump at the SHSU Last Chance (23-6 ¾).
2016 Indoor Season: Participated in five meets in 10 different events as a heptathlete for the Demons … his best finish was third in the SLC Indoor Championships high jump (6-4 ¾), long jump (22.4 ¼) and a fifth-place result in the shot put (37-1 ¼) … also had a second place in the high jump at the McNeese Invite (6-4 ¾).
2015 Outdoor Season: Participated at the MSU Cowboy Relays… in the shot put had a mark of 36-6 ¾ and 85-6 in the discus, but redshirted the rest of the season for medical reasons.
2015 Indoor Season: Redshirted.
High School: A multi-sport athlete that competes in long jump, high jump, triple jumps, discus, and relays, with PR’s of 22.’8.5” and 6’4.75” respectively… a 2010 Junior Olympic High Jump All American, and he was named 2013 District 1-5A Field MVP where he placed first in the long jump, second in high jump, and fifth in the triple jump… high school coach was Keith Bilbo.
Personal: Son of Angelia Lee and Tony Key… born January 5, 1996…has three brothers, Ryan, Britton, and Breyden… majoring in health and exercise science… plans to become a physical therapist.
