2016 Season: Became a regular starter on the offensive line, getting the call to open eight games … got his first career start in Week 2 vs. Incarnate Word, grading 72 percent on 57 snaps … 77 percent on 57 plays at UCA … 76 percent on 55 at Southeastern … 72 on 62 plays vs. McNeese … 75 plays at ACU, with a 70 percent grade …  77 snaps, a season high, vs. Sam Houston.

2015 Season: Started career as offensive lineman, but played on the defensive line as a sophomore (11 appearances) … made nine tackles (five solo) … career-high three tackles at UL-Lafayette (9/12) and Sam Houston (11/14).
   
2014 Season: Saw action in 11 games … started the season as an offensive lineman before injuries necessitated a November move to the defensive line … collected the first tackle of his career in the season finale at Stephen F. Austin.

Personal: Son of Roderick and Sonja Bluiett … has three brothers, Jeremy (26), Caleb (22), and Christian (18) … father is a plant manager … family lived in the Philippine Islands as missionaries … his uncle Talmadge, recruited by Darrell Royal, was the first black athlete to attend the University of Texas on a football scholarship (1969) … his brother Caleb finished his Longhorns career in 2016… brother Christian is an NSU sophomore defensive lineman… nicknames are “Drew” and “Big Blu” … president of the WBHS Choir as a senior and state qualifier as a tenor ... won two gold and one silver medals as a soloist, a gold medal in an ensemble, and was a four-year regional gold medalist … full name is Andrew Whitney Todd Bluiett … born Sept. 29, 1995 … business major with a 3.0 GPA … aims to “work hard and do what’s right in God’s eyes.”
