High School: Honorable mention Class 5A All-State for coach Jeff Fitzgerald’s Lions after running for 765 yards on 141 carries (5.4 average) and scoring 10 TDs in 10 games … All-District 2-5A, All-Northeast Louisiana (Monroe News-Star) in each of his final two seasons …  ran for 1,458 yards on 172 carries (8.5 average) and 11 TDs in 12 games as a junior when Ouachita reached the state quarterfinals and finished 10-3 …  lettered four years in track, running the 100, 4x100 relay and 4x200 relay for coach Paul McComas.
