2016 Spring: Caught two passes for 28 yards, including a touchdown, in Delaney Bowl.
 
2015 Season: Third-leading NSU receiver with 16 catches for 268 yards … started six games, including the last three, with 11 appearances … reached season-high of 54 receiving yards twice – had four catches for 54 yards vs. SFA (11/21) and two catches for 54 yards and a touchdown vs. McNeese (10/24) … touchdown was a 42-yard strike from Stephen Rivers that tied game against ranked McNeese in fourth quarter … had 47 receiving yards on two catches vs. Central Arkansas (9/26) … added 35 receiving yards on two catches against Incarnate Word (10/3).
 
2014 Season: Second on the team in receiving yards (430) and third in receptions (35) and touchdowns (four) … career highs of five catches and 102 yards against Sam Houston State, including a 42-yard touchdown … had five catches for 73 yards against Missouri State … made four catches for 51 yards against Louisiana Tech and four catches for 45 yards against Southeastern … made at least one catch in all 12 games ... was the team’s holder on all placements.
 
2013 Season: Played 12 games at receiver … fifth on team with 296 receiving yards on 22 catches … 33-yard touchdown scamper in key win over Central Arkansas … hauled in a 56-yard pass in lone reception against Sam Houston State to set a season-high for yards in a game … season-high four receptions in finale against Stephen F. Austin … notched 50 yards on three catches against Lamar ... season-high four catches in the season finale against SFA.
 
2012 Season: Redshirted.
 
High School: Three-sport star in football, track, and baseball … earned MVP honors as a wide receiver and Co-Offensive MVP honors … first team all-district and second-team All-Greater Houston honors … caught 78 passes for 1,266 yards and 11 touchdowns in his senior season … averaged 16.2 yards per catch … scored a total of 62 points … ranked sixth in the state in receiving and 32nd in the nation … all-district in track in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles … made nine catches for 91 yards as a junior … team advanced to state playoffs both his junior and senior seasons … graduated with a 3.5 GPA.
 
Personal: Son of Ben and Sheila McClain … two brothers, Brandon (24) and Matthew (19) … both parents are veterans of the United States Army … Brandon has served in active duty in the United States Navy … born Jan. 3, 1994 .. business administration major with a 3.0 GPA.
