2012 Season: Has started 22 straight games while emerging as one of the Southland’s more formidable interior defensive linemen … was a second-team All-Southland selection in his sophomore season and received honorable mention recognition last year while facing double teams throughout the season … had 42 tackles in 2012, 6 more than he did a year earlier … forced 2fumbles, recovering 1, and blocked a kick while making 4.5 tackles for loss as a junior … 2 pass breakups at Texas Tech to open 2012 … season-high 8 tackles, sharing the team lead and matching his career high, vs. Lamar including a sack where he forced a fumble and recovered it to halt the Cardinals at the 5 in a 30-23 win … 5 hits vs. Southeastern … 7 tackles vs. Sam Houston State.
 
2011 Season:  Earned a starting job with a tremendous fall camp … also earned acclaim for his academic efforts, winning the Athletic Department’s 2010-11 “Trailblazer Award” as the student-athlete whose improved approach and performance was most inspiring to his peers … sparkled on the field all season …  made a career-high eight tackles against Nicholls, five solo, and a sack...  six tackles at LSU …  three quarterback hurries against Southeastern Louisiana... six tackles against McNeese State, four solo... four tackles each against SFA and Central Arkansas... recovered a fumble at Sam Houston.
 
2010 Season: Recorded 10 tackles, one sack, and a tackle for a loss while appearing in 10 games... had a high of three stops at Southeastern Louisiana... got his sack and a tackle for loss against Nicholls... two QB hurries and a pass break up.
 
2009 Season: Redshirted.
 
High School: Two-year first-team All-District 10-3A for coach Alden Foster ... 80 tackles, 13 sacks, 1 fumble recovery as a senior ... made Ponchatrain All-Star Classic team ... Warriors reached state quarterfinals in each of his final two seasons ... played linebacker as a junior, defensive tackle as a senior ... team went 11-1 in 2008, 103-3 in his junior year, and won the first of three district championships with a 7-2 record as a freshman.
 
Personal: Born May 7, 1991... son of Renee and Lesley Deamer... plans to become a computer technician... mother is a nurse and father a painter.
