Biography

2014 Season: Appeared in 10 games and made 33 tackles (26 solo) … recovered from an injury in 2013 to make an impact as a backup middle linebacker … had a career-high eight tackles (seven solo) and a sack against Central Arkansas … also made six tackles each against Southeastern (Oct. 4) and Incarnate Word … made 21 of his 33 tackles in four October games … forced a fumble by Louisiana Tech running back Kenneth Dixon that set up Chris Moore’s game-tying field goal.
 
2013 Season: Injured.
 
2012 Season: Saw action in eight games … two tackles against Sam Houston State … one tackle versus Arkansas-Monticello.
 
2011 Season: Played in three games and recorded one tackle against Texas State.
 
High School: All-East Texas at linebacker and district’s defensive player of the year as a senior ... made 117 tackles, had five sacks, three forced fumbles, an interception and 15 QB hurries for coach Mike Meador as Lindale won the district title and reached the playoffs for a second straight season ... had 101 tackles as a junior ... lettered three times in track and field, once in powerlifting.
