2014 Season: Made six appearances at right tackle … top grades included 71 percent in 14 plays against Incarnate Word and 69 percent in 32 plays against Missouri State … also appeared against Abilene Christian and Nicholls State (67 percent on three plays in each game).

Prior to NSU: A first-team All-California Region II offensive lineman … team was ranked sixth in the Northern California Community College top 20, finishing 10-1 and winning the Mid-Empire Conference in the Northern California Football Association, playing in a bowl game …  Siskiyous ran for 252.4 yards per game and averaged 34.9 points per game.
 
High School: An all-conference choice who played in Washington’s East-West All-Star Game … his team was 17-4 and made two straight playoff appearances in his two seasons … also wrestled.
 
Personal: Son of Dave and Marsha Schumann … father is a public utility district lineman, mother is a 911 dispatcher … one younger sister, Sydney (21) … plans to enter coaching and education field … full name is Zachary John Schumann … born Nov. 24, 1992.
